Description
This certificate can be undertaken during a master's, doctoral, or as a stand-alone certificate. All students must apply to the ABA concentration through the College of Education and be approved by the concentration faculty.
This certificate is issue by the TTU Graduate School and is not endorsed by any agency (e.g., Texas Education Agency or Behavior Analyst Certification Board). This does not lead to teaching credentials or certification.
All certificate only students should note that they must have a master's in 1) education, 2) psychology, or 3) ABA in order to meet the BACB certification requirements. For the latest information, please visit www.bacb.com
All certificate only students must begin and complete the entire coursework sequence (ABA 1 through ABA 6) and meet all specified prerequisites to receive the TTU Graduate School ABA Certificate. No transferring or substitution of ABA coursework will be permitted.
Students wishing to switch to a master's degree seeking program must complete a new application and undergo review and be voted on by the faculty.

TTU Application Process
Steps
- You apply to the Texas Tech University Graduate School
- You receive an eraider login( via the email you gave in your graduate school application) and activate your login.
- Graduate School receives your information.
- You apply to the TTU College of Education for the degree you are applying for using your eraider login.
- The Graduate School processes your application and sends a worksheet to the College of Education requesting approval for admittance from the degree program.
- You provide all materials required for the College of Education program to make its decision.
- Your College of Education application is locked and no new materials or editing can occur.
- Faculty in that program review your application and application materials.
- The program's faculty makes their decision about your application.
- The Graduate School's worksheet is returned with the program's recommendation.

- You do not have to complete all of your requirements when you begin the application. Your application will be saved and can be amended or edited at any time.
- Once all materials have been provided from you and the graduate school requests the recommedation of the College of Education program; your application is locked and cannot be edited.
- You may check the status of you application at anytime by going to Application Overview
- It is very important that the email you provide is accurate and viewed on a regular basis. We will send you an email when a decision has been made concerning your application or when anything is incorrect or needs updated.
- The College of Education Graduate Studies office send notes to you through the application status page. So check it often.
- You must have an eraider username and password to apply. You receive an eRaider after applying to the graduate school.
